Services include:

• Planning of Loading and Stowage of Project and Heavy Lift Cargoes both Lift-On and Lift-off and Roll-on/Roll-off including ballast and stability calculations. Supervision of loading, stowage and securing of cargo for voyages both open sea, coastal Western Rivers and Great Lakes areas including all necessary calculations. Calculation of equipment and material strengths needed and ordering of same for handling, securing and ballasting as well as supervision of labour.
• Feasibility Studies for barge movements of Heavy and Dimensional Cargoes including supervising Dock strength surveys and diving surveys of Docks, Beaches, and other areas for Roll Off or Lift off style unloading of cargoes.
• Preliminary Studies of delivery options and viability for voyages such as Toronto, Hamilton, Welland Canal to Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois; Dardanelles, Arkansas, for bid packages.
• Conducting Preplanning Studies and Production of Report to Nuclear Industry Standards of available barges, routing options, meteorological conditions, loading and stowage methods and options on selection of loading or unloading sites.
• Planning and design of grillage and sea fastenings, stowage for delivery of Replacement Nuclear Steam Generators up to 700 tons weight from Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario to Hutchison Island, Florida; Rochester, New York; Calvert Cliffs, Chesapeake Bay, Maryland.
• Production of detailed Procedures Manuals covering Barge Selection, Preparation of Barges, Ballasting requirements, for the movement including establishing minimum freeboards, stability, grillage and sea fastening design and justification.
• Voyage criteria. Approval of Tow including tugs and towing equipment and Weather restrictions, Approval of tow proceeding based on weather forecast and climatalogical data.
• Development of Scope of Work Responsibilities and sign-off checklists.
• Supervision of Barge preparation, loading including necessary ballasting,
• installations of grillage and sea fastening, preparation of tow , prosecution of tow to delivery at clients site and supervision of offloading at delivery.
• Development of Risk Management Programme covering loading, stowage and cargo carriage conditions for a major Pulp and Paper Exporter.

Projects have included:

• Planning and supervision of loading, stowage securing and tow approval for barge containing Desalination plant and unloading equipment from Baltimore to Guantonamo Bay, Cuba including ballasting and unloading supervision.
• Preplanning Report, Procedures Manual, Preparation and Operational Supervision of shipment of Two 600 Ton Steam Generators from Hamilton, Ontario, to Rochester, New York January, 1996, first winter delivery across Lake Ontario.
• Preplanning Report, Procedures Manual, Preparation and Operational Supervision of Shipment of Two 380 Ton Heat Exchangers from Toronto, Ontario to Mount Vernon, Indiana, via Great Lakes, Illinois, Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, June - July 1996.

• Planning, Supervision of Loading, Stowage, Securing and Tow Approval for 2 barge loads of Container Crane booms from Montreal, Quebec to Boston, Massachusetts.
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Welland, Ontario. Supervision of Transshipment, installation of grillage and securing in Hopper barges for river voyage and supervision of unloading, barge cleaning and off-hire of barges at Newell, West Virginia. Three Cold Boxes
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Port Weller, Ontario. Various barges loaded with up to 5 boilers for delivery to New York City through the Erie, Oswego Canal System and Hudson River .
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Port Weller, Ontario. Supervision of unloading, barge cleaning and off-hire of barge at Hamilton Ontario, of two boilers each 250 tons loaded onto vessel at Hamilton for delivery to Saudi Arabia.
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Port Weller, Ontario. Supervision of Transshipment at Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Burns Harbour, Indiana covering Lifting using two cranes in tandem, installation of grillage and securing in Hopper barges for river voyage to Geismar, Louisiana. Two Boilers of 250 tons each per voyage for three voyages.
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Welland, Ontario. Supervision of unloading, barge cleaning and off-hire of barge at Monroe, Michigan for one Electric Steel Furnace Ladle and Platform
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Norfolk, Virginia. Supervision of unloading, barge cleaning and off-hire of barges at Cromwell, Connecticut and Haverstraw New York delivering Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators to Co Gen Plants, loads up to 475 tons.
• Supervision of Barge Preparation, Roll on loading including necessary ballasting, installation of grillage and sea fastenings, preparation of tow at Lachine, Quebec for two voyages each with one Turbine Runner of 450 tons weight each for the Sanaxia Three Gorges Project, Republic of China. Delivery by barge to Vessel at Montreal Harbour for lift off cargo from barge.
